I started writing about French Cuisine in 1997 for About.com. I was their "French Cuisine Guide" and each week I would write articles, test recipes and answer email from thousands of people looking for help in the kitchen. Since then I've written for Hearst Newspapers as a regular columnist for six years, Williams Sonoma's publication TASTE, France Magazine, Comcast, Emeril Lagasse's official website, The FOOD Magazine and my own websites including my blog, MenuForLove.com

Here is a link to one of the first columns I've started writing for a local newspaper, The Del Norte Triplicate in Crescent City, Ca. http://www.triplicate.com/Northcoast-Life/Northcoast-Life/Artisan-Cuisine-Better-butter-and-healthier-made-by-you

My column is titled Artisan Cuisine and I share ideas on how to do things like cure your own bacon, make homemade sauerkraut, create fresh mozzarella, etc. I have also started a Facebook group called The Culinary Artisans Alliance which is free for anyone to join who is interested in learning the new "old ways" of making food.
